Strengths: Our film was original and creative as it used up most of the weirdness of dreams and the way dreams go. Secondly, the scene in the darkroom was my favourite part to watch as the sound effects fit well with the aura of the room and the shot where the candle was seemed very appealing to the eye. We worked very hard to compromise in our project as we faced some hurdles, but the best part was that we were able to make it make follow a path or storyline which was closest to our original idea. Weaknesses: The weaknesses of our depict entry are that we did not have enough time to complete our filming (we also had to cut some parts to make our film seem more logical) due to the fact we thought 'too big' and didn't take into account our schedule. Next time, I will help to come up with a simpler idea and think ahead. Amusements I like this short film because of its simplicity, it only has four shot types, medium close up from behind, a wide shot, a medium shot and a long shot. They have no talking except from at the end which the phrase "that was shit" this whole short film is about a guy trying to impress a girl and in the end it doesn't, it shows how hard it is to impress someone in the real world and does reflect that sometimes the outcomes we want aren't always going to happen. Throughout the film, everything is very symmetrical and adds to the simplicity factor because there are only a few props and a fence. There is no special effects or filters which create a very real, very true to life aspect. In the starting shot before the title splays itself on the scene you see the girl look at him while he is not, indicating to the audience or watcher that she is interested in the guy which creates a basis and an idea of what the film is to the watcher.
