Research Dossier

Secondary Research Throughout Course

I also consulted my psychology booklet for information on memory.

Depict: We consulted depict and watched short films from what people had uploaded as inspiration.

Primary Research:

I conducted my research by interviewing peers as a small experiment which is in my Documentary and also a psychology teacher of which knew information that I did not.
There was information I already knew myself so I applied that to my research.

For our first task, the induction task I really used our basic knowledge of drama and physical theatre to add to the idea we had a box in our hands.

On the depict project we discussed our own dreams and what they were like and tried to add all of that into our project, however our ideas became too overcrowded and 'mushed' together so it became rather disorganized.

We also criticized a film to help us understand what is good and bad about a film.

In our ideas, we did have to cut down some of the ideas as they were too outlandish and would take more time than we had and the locations seemed to be hard to find. Filming was especially difficult to organised as people had different schedules than each other.

Pre-production for depict:

Interview Organisation:
Psychology Teacher interview organisation for my documentary.

Filming In Public
You will need permission from the correct local authority or cir=ty council if you film in a public space, certain agencies can help you get in contact with these people.
If you are filming on a highway/roads or using SFX, explosives, fake or real fire arms or anything involved with the police, you will need their permission also.

In my projects I do not need to consider libel or defamation as I do not lie to my consumers and does not speak in a negative way towards a certain aspect of person etc.

Ofcom:
I am very careful with infringing upon the Ofcom broadcasting code as in the advert project, I aimed at my PG tips product to teenagers and had to make sure that my actors at least looked over 18 as promoting caffeine consumption to anyone under 16 is infringing upon the code.

Viewer Trust Guild-lines:
In my PG Tips advert it says that 'must not materially mislead the audience' in the advert we tried to make it as over the top as possible to not make it seem like the drink is actually a miracle worker and can make everything better.
